Here are the latest videos from last month's Newman Numismatic Portal Symposium. Scroll down to 11/17/22 to find the latest... There are lots of really good, diverse subjects: Conder tokens, Byzantine coins, the Panic of 1893, coin photography, the coin market, John Albanese takes questions, and more! ...and here's my presentation on South Korean coins!
I'm watching John Albanese's talk here. He's making a lot of sense as to why he's starting his grading service. The "4-way shipping costs, and other soft costs" are a good argument....
That was a really nice presentation. The commen commemorating a winning bid was pretty funny. Your presentation was very well done--thankyou.
Well, if you knew who the other competing city was, you'd understand: The city of Nagoya.... in Japan. I could have mentioned that, and a lot of other things as well, but the presentation was already running at 50 minutes when I timed myself earlier in practice. And it was already pretty long-winded! The dumb Zoom call glitched in a few places, per usual. That stunk... But it was okay. Any more of that, and it would have been garbage. And thank you for your kind words! Cheers.
