Acetone does not dissolve all types of glue. Water, 90% Isopropyl alcohol, acetone, DMSO ( for epoxy blends) would be my sequence. None will damage copper, but I would limit the DMSO to just a few minutes. The evidence for glue is such, I really don't think one needs to purchase anything you don't already have on hand.
