IMG_5326.jpeg I just can’t help myself when I find a large diameter capped bust quarter. I am now lucky enough to have three in my collection. I am no expert in varieties but this I believe in a browning 2. The large die crack above libertys head gives this one away. IMG_5327.jpeg

Like some say, never met a bust I didn't like.

Plus yours is a large-sized one! I don't think I've ever owned a Bust quarter. Maybe some day? I've been collecting for 52 years now. I think sometime in the next 52 years, I'm likely to get one!

Nice! Don't see many of these ungraded anymore.

I have owned this one for many years. It's the only example of the type that I have owned in 60+ years of collecting.

    Beautiful coin.
I could look it up but it appears to be the "large size". I think in 1828 there were a couple varients on size. That's the year the reduction occurred for dimes and quarters (and technically half-dimes, tho those weren't reissued till '31).

This is from my type set. Browning 4, AU-50. It took a while to find this coin and it was not inexpensive.
