Posts #10-#13 are actually four (4) identical posts. Then #14 is as follows: "One under cellophane, same coin not." Then you post four (4) pictures with the first two (2) appearing to be duplicates the same image, followed by the last two (2) appearing duplicates of an image differing from the first two (2) posted. I am not sure if you assume anyone, or everyone but me, is certain of what you are trying to convey. I suspect I know what you mean, but, I'm too lazy to guess since words are free just as removing duplicate images you've uploaded is also free. 1) Whatever you did in the first two isn't a good idea and if you are crafting some "diffuser" without cutting a hole thru it for the lens, that compounds your problem. 2) The clear shield around the lower part of the scope head; how far recessed from its lowest point are the LED's and lens? 3) Can you post a picture showing the business end of that scope with respect to the clear shield thing on the end? 4) Would removing that piece allow you to cut a doughnut or washer out of say, a milk jug, that would only filter the LED's and not obstruct the lens? 5) Is that unit plug and play as in recognized and will function without any software or drivers loaded on a windows pc? It may be possible to dim the led, I think, if so. I think I would like it better IF it is plug and play being recognizable by Windows as a webcam. I'd just about bet it is or can be made that way. Another maybe is leaving the LED on for maybe a day or two as that will tend to soften its output. It appears to be very blue/cool in temp so making yourself a filter to make it warmer may make you happier. I'm asking because that is common and likely, while being reasonably curable in most cases, which it appears you may have done. However, the placement of the lenses with respect to the optical card requires tolerances in the mils and if they aren't held, somebody could get driven crazy trying to figure out how come why. I am sorry that it isn't legitimate CC mint 1921. A real one would really be super rare and probably worth much more than five figures. ;-) For sheets and grins, maybe try a high intensity halogen desk lamp (with the unit's LED turned off) if you have one at hand, or maybe a simple desk lamp that uses an incandescent bulb keeping in mind those are available in warm/cool temps. 7) The image posted is 1280 x 1024, was it cropped or compressed? Is that done with the software which comes with it and is installed onto your computer? That is several steps from 5MP.
