    The missing chunks of letters in STATES jump out at me. Both coins show the same.

    Did anyone catch the fake 1833 is labeled $1 instead of 50C[​IMG]?

    I truly feel sorry for someone inheriting what they think is an outstanding collection of coins and find out otherwise. They know nothing about coins so they have an appraisal done either offical or otherwise, and find their loved one unknowingly had these types of coins in their collections. I hope they just don't get passed on to someone else.
