New Purchases from Estate Buy - Lincoln Commemorative and Toned Morgans

    Purchased an estate collection today and thought I’d share a few interesting elements. The collection had a lot of older gold…those will have a separate thread…but for now here are a few fun pieces. There are 3 Lincoln Commemorative pieces similar to the one which is likely wiped/polished and then there is one that has its original crust. The two Morgans pictured are very dark in hand but the photos brought out some of the color in the toning.

    That first Lincoln commemorative must have been stored under the house. LOL

    It’s a mottled tarnish. Acetone didn’t help…fighting the urge to do a 5 second eZest dip…
