New purchase—GTG. 1901 toned Indian Cent

Picked this 1901 Indian Cent as a late night snipe, and just got it. How say you, as to grade, R, RB, or BN?

65 RB nice indian looks like mine toning like this can be deceiving so I'm going a little low on it.

 

Where did you buy it ebay?looks familiar to me like had this on my watch list but it sold.

 

Yup. Seller who lists tons of album toned certified cents.

 

Is the sellers name blue something e.t.c with a toned morgan as his profile picture?

My vote 65 RB looks like a lot of luster just can't see the surfaces that well.

 

I think it's a high 64 or a low 65 and right on the edge between Brown and Red-Brown. I'm going to give it the benefit of the doubt and call it 65-RB.

 

It struck me as a gem at first glance and there is certainly enough red left to warrant RB. MS65 RB

 

Ha, I went to the eBay listing and that's a vendor I've done a quantity of business with for IHCs.

 

Beautiful specimen - loving the toning! I think it's MS64RB.

 

I went 65 BN. Normally small cents seem to get the brown designation with this much toning.
