    Picked this 1901 Indian Cent as a late night snipe, and just got it. How say you, as to grade, R, RB, or BN?

    Yup. Seller who lists tons of album toned certified cents.

    My vote 65 RB looks like a lot of luster just can't see the surfaces that well.

    I think it's a high 64 or a low 65 and right on the edge between Brown and Red-Brown. I'm going to give it the benefit of the doubt and call it 65-RB.

    It struck me as a gem at first glance and there is certainly enough red left to warrant RB. MS65 RB

    I went 65 BN. Normally small cents seem to get the brown designation with this much toning.
