Scored thanks to eBay with subpar photos and poor title/description. Seller actually had it listed twice before and no one noticed what it was (!!!) Rare date/mintmark/assayer combination and also the normal date variety which is rarer than the overdate variety. Unfortunately cleaned with silver polish (and still smells like it). Has the typical obverse die flaws and weak striking.
"Resplandores" by Dunigan & Parker states this date is rare and the normal date is the more rare of the two varieties, but the book doesn't use a rarity scale like R-1, R-2, etc. It's by no means like super rare though unless you can find one in AU or better. As far as value, if it wasn't cleaned easily upwards of $500. Cleaned? Some people care more about cleaning than others, so I really can't say.
What's that called from the ray to the denticles at about 10 o'clock position? Not a die crack, is it? CUD?
