We recently hired a new photographer, Samantha .... to help out with the increased auction load.

On the 2 coins you should use a black mat instead of white ...

 

She should prove adequate.....nice shots.

 

Nice work. I'd use one of those polarizer filters (that spin) to get rid of the slight reflective glare on the Abe Lincoln set. Yes, a black background works nice on coins, along with playing with different lighting, possibly.

It all depends on what your needs are, and the level of presentation that you are looking for.

 

Dose danged dings is expensive.......

Did splurge for one for my 28/300 mm lens though.......

 

I'd like to get some of my coins professionally photographed.

 

Nice work on the Kennedy.
Proofs can be tough to image correctly.
