Since I only look at early British copper, I found this disclaimer (while looking at an early 18th century farthing) interesting and possibly disconcerting. Is this new? Any opinion?
It's not that new. I can't remember when they made that change but it's been going on for several years. Basically once a decade you have to reholder if you want the guarantee to stay, or you can try and cross it over ect.
They have reworded it some. This is how it read in May of 2016 Nothing about how to extend the guarantee, or what would happen if you allowed it to expire.
