I have not thought about getting mine graded. But that means I have to join PCGS I guess and then send them in. I'll have to investigate that a little more.
If you ever consider to get them graded please let me know, i will be more then Happy to submit them for you but you should only consider the best Of the best as can get a bit pricey with shipping $23 each way and $35 For the actual process, if you can go to a show where PCGS is a part of You can save on shipping plus you can get the note back in one day
That's more than a coin!!! I imagine one of these days I'll hit a show with them there. Is there a website that would at least show all the info about MPCs without having to go out and buy a book? Just be nice to read up on them a little now that I have dug mine out. I figure you should know a good site... What does the PPQ stand for in graded notes?
PCGS- (Premium Paper Quality) PPQ PMG- (Exceptional Paper Quality) EPQ Both mean the same thing just different grading service And your right it can be expensive! but if you have the right note value can be increased Substantially!! just by having it graded If you have any other questions just ask
Here,s an example of what i,am talking about this note is on the rare side especially In this particular grade in fact it is a top pop note 1-1 Series 661 $20 it,s value is Eight times plus that of a raw gem note.
Thanks for the link...checked it out and saved it for future reference. I guess they have not done any MPCs after Vietnam? MPCUSA, where in Calif are you? I grew up in Ventura County.
