I hope so also. However, my views on some things differ greatly from some collectors here. First, I read a lot of bashing of SGS and ANACS graded coins. I have made some of my best buys from these grading services. Looking at the coin and not the slab I saved money on some great coins. I cracked the slabs and put the coins imy albums or a display case I make for a few "mini-sets" I call them such as War Nickels and Westward Journey nickels. Second I restore silver coins. You can send a coin to NGC and pay them to restore it, they place in a slab, and now it is done with no mention of the restoration on the slab. I think they do an excellent job, but I wonder about something. If you had them restore a coin, after you get the coin have someone else send it in to be graded, would it be graded as a coin that has been cleaned? All the Peace Dollars in my collection are in my opinion beautiful. They all have beautiful cartwheels yet when I bought them they looked bad. It seemed I was the only person that would purchase them, I saved a lot of money. It didn't happen over night, took about a year. Coin collecting does take a lot of patience when you are on a budget. I also agree with the thught that almost all old coins have been tampered with at some time or anther in an attempt to enhance the appearance. I look forward to hearing others views on this. I am prepared and my feelings won't be hurt. I respect your feelings on this, I just don't think only the rich should be able to own rare and beautiful at the same time,
