Have just got to see the Canadian 50$ gold maple leafs. These have very finely radiant fields which show up on my scans but one almost needs a magnifying glass to see the radiant lines with the naked eye. Is this something new?
They started doing with with the silver Maple Leafs in 2014. Looks like they started doing it on the gold Maple Leafs in 2015. It's supposed to be an extra security feature if I remember correcty. Here is a really bad picture of my 2014 SML with the lines.
