New Life in the Nickel Forum!!

The nickel forum gets bigger each day I am so glad it is back on track and our forum is doing well, Get out and search some nickel rolls.

Right on, it is great to see folks starting to take notice of the forum we have here for nickels! Just on a side note, I Talked with JT and he tells me the Variety Nickels website has been sold to a collector who intends to get it up and running!! Hopefully we will see the fruit of that shortly!!

Yes the site has been sold.....and I'm the one that bought it.
JT and I had talked about the site before and I'd been interested in it almost since the day it went down.
While I'm not knowledgable about nickels I'm willing to learn..in the last few weeks I've been reading and researching and I've learned more than I ever thought I would.
The site is still in the works of being transfer so I don't have power of it totally yet.

I'm interested in some feedback from ya'll....now and after the site is up.
What should be on such a site---good books, websites, etc for such pages as the Link page and suggested reading page.....I'm also interested in the suggested reading myself as I'm wanting to get some more books on this topic

The transfer completed today---and I hope to get the site (at least the new look) up and running by the end of next week.

I think by "help", Bruce was talking about his extra circulated coins, that could be given away.

We have a special section for want lists and items for sale or trade.

 

Although you are right, Its not like him or I specifically came in here trying to buy or sell anything...

There has been a slight problem come up and it will take a few more days to get it fixed so I won't be able to show ya'll the new look for awhile longer. I can't wait to show it to ya'll as I really think it shows that the site has a new life!!

Well.....before this came up I was going to have up the new look by the end of the week. Now that this has come up I really can't say. I don't think it will take longer than maybe 14 days but I can't say for sure. I'll try to keep you updated as much as I can.

As for getting the infomation online--that will take awhile. I wasn't able to afford to buy all of the info from Jason so much of that is having to be retyped, or found again by searching books, and online. That is a job that will never end.
