I think NH-03 may be the ugliest design I've ever seen... (followed very closely by NH-04 and NH-05)

NH-03 is the only attractive design.

 

I'm a fan of NH-03. Knowing the mint, they will eff this up and pick the ugliest possible design.

 

I agree. I looked at the 5, and wasn't crazy about any, but 3 is the best of a subpar pack.

 

I don't see any that I can't live with out.

So lemme guess it'll be number 4 just to be as awful as possible. If this is what the series is going to be it's time to just cancel it.

 

I am really at a loss. I think they should strongly consider going back to the drawing board.

They may be best off having art students submit drawings and/or ideas. Maybe they figure no one cares; these ain't going to circulate anyway!

 

Pretty much every new American design is complete garbage. Come to think of it, there aren't many American designs period that are objectively "nice"

 

There are a few. This comes to mind:

 

It's not a bad idea. The baseball coin came out very nicely and that was a publicly sourced design from competition.

Assuming the current artists aren't just wrong for the job it seems like at least some of them try to design for the CCAC which has a horrendous design decision history in the last 5-10 years especially
