The bags were given to the banks to be made available to the public. You would go to the bank and trade your Marks in for the new Euros. This was the first minting ever of the German Euros available to anyone. My grandfather lives and Germany and owns several banks there so he was able to get me one of the bags when they first came out.</p><p><br /></p><p>The coins are in the original bag, never opened. It contains a face value of around 20 Euros. </p><p><br /></p><p>Any clue as to the current value?
