Blundered Greek legend</p><p><br /></p><p>So its from an early Parthian Empire with no beard.</p><p><br /></p><p>I took it to a few places today and just want your opinions.</p><p>The first place told me to take it to an ancient coin expert.</p><p><br /></p><p>The second guy was not a coin dealer but antiques and he looked at it with a little</p><p>magnifying thing. he said many people make these things and it looks fake.</p><p>He also said he is no expert and I should take it to this one coin place.</p><p><br /></p><p>I went there and the guy quickly got a radar looking gun and scanned it.</p><p>He said it was something with iron.</p><p>He also weighed it and said its pretty much spot on and I should send it in to get graded, He initially thought it was a common coin, then I told him it was uncommon.</p><p><br /></p><p>He went and looked it up and agreed with me on what it was and said to send it in.</p><p><br /></p><p>He said it costs like 40 bucks and can take about a month.</p><p><br /></p><p>Now I am willing to do this but I want your opinions on it.</p><p><br /></p><p>I don&#039;t know if I can upload pics on here yet but if I can, then I will.</p><p><br /></p><p>What do you guys think its worth?</p><p><br /></p><p>Another reason I want to confirm this coin is legit is another coin I found with it.</p><p>The kind of coin that makes you sick to your stomach once you know of it.</p><p><br /></p><p>I wont say the year yet because it is in my safe at another house.</p><p>I will get confirmation on the exact year it is later tonight.</p><p><br /></p><p>Lets just say its a RARE penny, very RARE.</p><p>I will get clear pictures of it tonight so I can upload that too.</p><p><br /></p><p>So if this Parthian coin is legit then maybe the penny is too.[/QUOTE]</p><p><br /></p>
