I spent a couple hours there today with my wife, five year old daughter and nine month old son. I will say that both my wife and I were off put by quite a few dealers there that were just rude or completely ignored us when we approached their tables. Not sure if they seem to think because were younger people that we didn't have money to spend or what but it was pretty shameful behavior. I still ended up spending a good amount of money though with some great vendors. One dealer who once completely ignored us at his table not even bothering to say 'hi' or get up out of his seat the first time we looked at it (and we were the only people there at the moment). Who also then walked away from his table completely and ignored my wife a second time when she wanted to look at and purchase some classic commemoratives, was probably the worst dealer experience of all. That same dealer then actually tried to get me to come over to his table and buy a certain date gold coin I was looking for. I was inquiring at another dealer who didn't have that date and he happened to overhear what I was looking for walking by. I politely informed him why I would not be patronizing his table at all. I mean were not that young early 30's; but quite a few dealers wouldn't give us the time of day or watched us with a hawk eye like we were thieves or something. Very different from last years show where I had no issues what so ever. Not sure if they had theft problems last year or not but it's a small venue and I think 3 police officers were on hand which I believe matched last year not sure. There were though quite a few wonderful vendors that were friendly, welcoming to not only us but our children as well. I made sure to spend a chunk of money with each one of those vendors in return as a simple return of common courtesy even if they didn't have things I was particularly in the market for. Debating whether to return tomorrow or not as my oldest daughter was in school and missed out on the show. Depending on whether she wants to go or not I may make a second trip back for her to pick up some coins.
