A genuine repunched mintmark with that degree of offset should have attracted multiple bids in its nearly two days on the site at a nominal opening bid; but apparently none of the experts who have undoubtedly seen it by now have shown any interest.</p><p><br /></p><p>It certainly isn't the "vertical over horizontal" mint mark which is the <u>only</u> 1955D variety listed <a href="http://www.collectorscorner.org/pocket.html" target="_blank" class="externalLink ProxyLink" data-proxy-href="http://www.collectorscorner.org/pocket.html" rel="nofollow">at this site devoted to valuable Wheaties</a>![/QUOTE]</p><p><br /></p>
