I finally found a Gallienus Sestertius suitable as a companion piece for my Valerian. It turned out a little more patinated than I had hoped it would, but I do like the portrait: IMP C P LIC GALLIENVS P F AVG / VICTORIA AVGG S C Laureate and cuirassed bust right / Victory standing left, holding wreath and palm Sestertius, Rome 253 (joint reign, first emission) RIC 243, Cohen 1140, Göbl MIR 30 dd, Banti 68 (ex Baldwin´s Auction 5.11.2016, lot 61) Let´s see your Gallienus bronzes
Great Gallienus sestertius!!! I would love to have one as nice! Real nice portrait, more than adequate legends for the type, and a super attractive rx victory! And the lovely patina is rocks too! Congrats on a great coin!

Congrats on a great OP-winner, Julius-G Well, I only have three examples, but you asked for 'em ... so here they are again!! Gallienus, Antoninianus, Panther Gallienus AE Tetradrachm (Alexandria) Gallienus, Pamphylia, Side, AE 11 Assarion => congrats again on snagging that cool example
Thanks you! And nice Gallieni you have... OK Cucombor, I would trade against yours That is very rare!!! Great to have!
I think @Julius Germanicus' example looks great, patina and all. This was my best Gallienus, with full, bright silvering and some pale orange toning. In hand, it was an off-the-charts-awesome score for only $45, in my humble opinion. Unfortunately I never got photos that did it justice. These are scans.
