Very cool new coin! It's interesting seeing this interpretation of hist portrait! Here's my only one, from about 400 miles away from where your's was struck and used: Galba, Ruled Jun 8 68 AD-Jan 15, 69 AD AE23, Syria, Antioch Mint Obverse: [IMP SER GALBA] CAE AVG, laureate head right. Reverse: Large SC within laurel wreath of eight leaves, fastened at top with pellet, between inner circle and outer dotted border. Nice coin with a great portrait, congrats. Galba Alexadria Tet, Struck 68 AD, 23.8mm, 12.83gm, Emmett 172.
It seems that most of the Galba tets shown so far are around 12 grams. Mine is 7.18, which is a bit on the lighter side, but the flan is thinner than some of yours. Sort of an odd under weight emission. However, the coin has definitive silver traces so it is relatively "good" billon for the time. I also get to cross Galba off my list of the "12 Caesars" that I didn't have yet.
kool ACH..that fits in 'year of the 4' and one of the 12...i just have the ole' run of the mill Rome denarius...
