    That is an American Silver Eagle. And a lovely one at that. They are bullion coins and are valued at spot bullion values with a small premium.

    I’ll tell you another little bit of useful information that you may not know. Look up PCGS Verify. You can plug that serial number into their verification tool and it will give you the PCGS information on your coin as well as a value.
