Samuel Drabble was in business at 1 High St. in London from 1834 until 1881 as a cutler. I don&#039;t know exactly what he manufactured, but cutlers generally make various types of cutlery including tableware, butcher and kitchen knives, etc. I&#039;ve also seen cutlers who manufacture surgical instruments and other edged tools, so he may have been involved in thet trade as well. Brunk lists this as both D-517 and D-518 as there are two varieties known. There are only about a dozen examples documented and this one on an 1826 Half Penny is only the fourth on this denomination coin.
