New discovery, 1943 d/d, ddo?

    It’s hard to tell what is damage and what isn’t.

    The 9 and the 3 are not a DDO, but most likely machine doubling or die deterioration.

    Can you get a better photo of the S mint Mark? All you need to do is put a 10x loupe directly in front of the lens on your phone’s camera. Don’t use digital zoom, just move the camera until it is in focus.

    On your title d/d means d over d mint mark..
    Don't do that. It's confusing! Just say DDO.
