Oh get over yourself books. You can call me a hater too if say we're talking about the gold mercs for instance
I messaged him asking about doing that, and he said he might do some to see how they turn out... I REALLY hope we get a 3 coin gold set from him!
Ah, yes... how wrong could I have been to fully expect a schmuckish response to something so very reasonable? As usual, the boys all jump on, in one way or another, because that's what sheeple do. It's all good though, homedog... I get it. Pigeonholing is fun!
WAIT! I got it! Mods, please move this thread to "Bullion Investing." That's all this is, anyway. No need to create a Token Forum, that way. And while you're at it, go ahead and move all the gold mercury, etc threads over there too. After all, we need to stay on the relevant topic of coins on this forum, not bullion.
That would be fine with me. There might be less debate then. And there's quite a few forums I seldom visit unless I have a question or need help. I.e. World and ancient. Tho the members there are GREAT to deal with and very helpful
If the idea of a separate forum is to provide a space where Carr collectors can discuss their purchases in peace and quiet, you can forget it. That just isn't going to happen on this topic. Some folks will make sure of that.
A Carr forum would do nothing. 99 percent of Carr forums are clearly titled for what they are. However they all turn rather childish rather quickly as several posters cannot help themselves and appear in every single thread to repeat the exact same things. They remind me a lot of PETA standing outside McDonalds screaming for them to go vegan. No one actually cares what they have to say and what they're doing will have absolutely no impact on anything but they do it anyway.
I also support the idea of a separate forum for Carr Collectors, that would be great. Unnecessary trolling happens, now and then, in just about every forum, it is now part of the internet life. And going back to the original subject... I went ahead order also a 1915 Winged Liberty Head Silver Dime (minted 91 in high grade out of 118 minted so far with a scheduled mintage of 500 max.) and a 1932 Walking Liberty Silver Half Dollar (minted 91 in high grade out of 118 minted so far with a scheduled mintage of 500 max.). The Mintage Statistics does no show the actual date of the report. (Cited from: http://www.moonlightmint.com/coin_catalog.htm)
