See, this gentleman I think from Michigan comes up to my table at the Flea Market in Tennessee and asked if I could give him an idea what a few of his&#039; coins were worth. He stated that his next door neighbor (an elderly gentleman) came to him and offered to sell his&#039; coin collection as he was moving to Florida in his old age and needed the money. The neighbor showed him the coins and told him what he wanted for them and this gentleman purchased the coin collection even though he did not know anytning about coins and what they were worth. He stated that he trusted his neighbor which had lived next door for some 30 years or more, had always wanted to collect coins and figured that it must be a good deal and since he had the money, he went ahead and purchased the collection.</p><p><br /></p><p>The gentleman did not have the coins with him, so I asked the gentleman if he could remember what some of them were and the dates. Now, since it has been quite awhile back when this happened, I can&#039;t remember what they actually were but I remember being blown away by just the three coins that he stated that he received in the collection. All three were rare and the least valuable of the three started out at $15,000 in G-4 in the Coin Values Magazine. That was only three coins out of the collection with a total value at around $50,000 in just G-4 condition alone and he stated that all of the coins in the collection were in really great shape. In my book, that correlates from F-12 to EF-45 or maybe even to AU/BU!</p><p><br /></p><p>I just remember the look on the gentleman&#039;s face when I told him that the least valuable of the three was worth $15,000 in G-4 condition alone and that the values go up significantly from there in higher grades! He got so nervous and figity and I knew that he had left home on vacation without placing the coins in a Safe Deposit Box at his Bank, could not wait to get home to make sure they had not been stolen and to get them to the Bank.</p><p><br /></p><p>He stated that he would probably contact me the next time he comes down as he wants me to give him an idea as to what the coins are worth and that he may have me arrange the sell of some of the coins. Talking about figity, I can only dream of ever owning even one of the three coins and just the thought of holding and possibly arranging the sell of the three and maybe other rare coins in the collection, really got me nervous!</p><p><br /></p><p><br /></p><p>Frank[/QUOTE]</p><p><br /></p>
