New Constantine AE

    I don’t have a pic of an Arles Constantine, but here he’s at least MAX AVG.

    I got a new Constantine AE27 in the mail today, from the Naville aution. Looking forward to sharing that one on this thread too, wow what a coin.

    Great coins all. @dougsmit That Devicta is unusual in that the face of Victory seems to be the only worn spot on the reverse.

    I bought this guy at a local show where there was one dealer who had an ancient box I could go through. Even though this wasn’t the nicest coin I bought, it certainly has its appeal. From Trier, R3, I think.

    Here's my new Constantine I. It's a large follis for the great emperor. It will represent him in my collection while I'm waiting for an opportunity to buy a silver coin from his reign.
