    I think they're still striking 1964-D nickels, aren't they?
    They are so common, they must still be making them.

    What I have a hard time finding is P mint mark coins almost everything is D and anything I find that's interesting is a P.

    You must live in the Midwest or westward as they are supplied by the Denver mint. It takes awhile for coins to cross the country to please us collectors.

    Yeah I'm from California so the Ps I find are WELL circulated and already been picked through by everyone back east and unfortunately seems all the really interesting coins are Ps.
