Posted at 7:00 PM CST on January 17, 2017 Good evening everyone! While we all discuss the recent email from NGC regarding "gradeflation" at PCGS, I thought it would be fun to add some new purchases to my US Coins and World Coins pages. For the rest of the week, I'll be working on imaging some new purchases (some MONSTER toned Roosevelt Dimes, plus an entire page devoted solely to varieties and errors - mostly varieties, though.) Now, one bit of feedback I've received about my website is that my prices are TOO low. I have zero idea why a customer would complain about that (apparently it makes me look like I only deal in cheap coins) but I'd rather offer great coins at fair prices than try to gouge people unnecessarily. If you've dealt with me before, you know I'm almost always realistic and will consider reasonable offers - or even trades for junk silver. That being said, I'm also not above asking a strong price for a strong coin. 1949 Franklin Half PCGS OGH MS64 Rainbow toned obverse, mint set toning on reverse. Full lower bell lines, 90% full upper bell lines (missing just to the left of the crack) 1907 Liberty Nickel ANACS OSH MS61 Could be a good candidate for a dip/resubmit (if that's your thing) 1903 Indian Head Cent Probably an AU coin, has an interesting gold tone and plenty of luster remaining. 1960 Type B Reverse (unattributed) Washington Quarter NGC MS65 (have also recently added a number of new Type B Quarters to my page) 1960 D Washington Quarter NGC MS65 Curacao - 1944 D 2 1/2 Gulden UNC (Mintage of 200,000, of which 60,000 were melted down.) Israel (Republic) - 1949 500 Pruta Mintage of only 33,812 (not released for circulation)
