    developing color film DIY was pretty much unthinkable for amateurs like me, let alone all these adjustments softwares let us do with just simple clicks. Focus stacking. Focus stacking with auto align :woot:

    love that jig you made. You covered the 4 sides when shooting? I imagine that's how you gotten the background to be pitch black, having no light on it and way out of field of view.

    I've tried many various methods of shielding the light from reaching the base where there is black fabric/foam/paper. It is much harder when the light comes from close to the lens as with the ringlight. If you make the shield very small so it is more effective but appears in the edges of the photo it is not hard to remove it in postprocessing. There are many ways that work. Play around with the idea and see which you like. These photos show a way I no longer use but it worked. I keep trying new things in the hope of finding 'better' but usually the results are just 'different'.
