Reviving this thread to add a Lysimachos drachm from Colophon - and to gawk at the tetradrachms from OP on, with lion in left field reinforcing the story of killing the lion with his bare hands. Lysimachos Colophon Drachm.jpg
Kings of Thrace, Lysimachos, 305-281 BC, drachm, in the type of Alexander III of Macedon, Kolophon (on western edge of Asia Minor), struck c. 299/8-297/6 BC
Obv: Head of Herakles to right, wearing lion skin headdress
Rev: BAΣIΛEΩΣ ΛYΣIMAXOY, Zeus seated left on throne, holding eagle in his right hand and scepter in his left; to left, head of lion above crescent; below throne, pentagram
    Ref: Price L28
