Reviving this thread to add a Lysimachos drachm from Colophon - and to gawk at the tetradrachms from OP on, with lion in left field reinforcing the story of killing the lion with his bare hands.
Kings of Thrace, Lysimachos, 305-281 BC, drachm, in the type of Alexander III of Macedon, Kolophon (on western edge of Asia Minor), struck c. 299/8-297/6 BC
Obv: Head of Herakles to right, wearing lion skin headdress
Rev: BAΣIΛEΩΣ ΛYΣIMAXOY, Zeus seated left on throne, holding eagle in his right hand and scepter in his left; to left, head of lion above crescent; below throne, pentagram

Hi all,
Can you please help me with details about a coin please !? It was found among other old things ... and I have no idea what it is about and how much it is worth. I guess it is KINGDOM of THRACE Macedonian drachma ... or something? I saw that there are many similar ones on the Internet, but I did not find one identical to this one. Original ... or copy?
