I've never sent a coin to JR that was a new vam. Does he send it to Leroy or send it back to the submitter to send to him?
This will my my first ANACS submission, I'm used to NGC, should I print out multiple pages of the form for them and myself? Also should i just put in the special price in the special offer area and ignore the rest of it?
Just use the copier on the printer to copy your completed form and yes just put $139 (special) on the total line but if you are getting any extras like error, attribution, imaging or research then add those fees to the total.
Chris, I really don't know how JR handles new discoveries, I was just pipe dreaming on my orders and choose to believe that's what's happenin......with my over due order......
Well I know that Anacs Customer service is going to get a call from me ...as I paid to have this attributed on the slab as an 1868 DDO . And they straight graded it as an AU-50 without the attribution.
I don't see the problem... isn't that machine doubling? If so, they saw nothing to attribute. Also, on a side note, if you paid the lower attribution fee ($7), I think you need to post the actual Wexler or FS number. Otherwise, you're supposed to pay the ($12) fee.
Not machine doubling and the fees were paid along with the correct FS number. As were for the 3 others that were attributed . They messed up.
Paddy, I'd give them a ping. I think they just missed the attribution. I've had that happen before and they corrected the issue. They were very nice about it too. Also, they have provided me with an explanation if I sent them something to attribute and it doesn't match what I requested or it's machine dbling etc. ICG is very good at communication as well if what I request isn't what it is.....I've actually gotten calls from a gentleman named "Skip" from ICG if something is questionable. Hope you get it worked out, sweet nickel my friend!
To be honest I'm not upset with ANACS over missing something and in fact pretty happy over the grades I received on my shields . One did come back cleaned but the all the other actually came back as high to mid Au grades. They were on time with a month turn around so no issues there. Just the fact they missed a ddo that in fact is and was paid for to be noted on the slab. I wasn't happy with the grade of AU-58 FH on my SLQ ,when everyone and their mothers say it's 63 or better ! I will contact them and see where this goes .
Coins back from consultant yesterday, order will be processed and shipped by the weekend. Yay! Edit: Just got email that order has shipped. That was FAST. (Not being facetious there... I was told end of week, and it shipped end of day. That's really quick.)
First submission here. Coins shipped today. I will be doing a GTG when they arrive. Very surprised by the results. I learned from this submission and confirmed thoughts on several of the coins/grades. Overall I feel pretty good with my first experience.
My one batch of 10 from Aug. is on it's way back as well. Still waiting on another batch of 10 from early Sept....it's all good though...very happy with the results of the Aug batch and well worth the wait! I'm like a little excited puppy piddling on the floor waiting in anticipation for the next batch to ship......got another 15 going in tomorrow.....all need VAM verifications....this is some fun shhhhhhhhhhhhstufffff! Great deal as well and Steve, glad to hear you had a good experience.
This thread is proving my contention that both ANACS and ICG cater to collectors and are both worth a try.
I half agree with you Btw insider did you see last night's South Park? You NEED to watch it. One of the kids found a way to identify internet trolls by how they use emojis. Couldn't help but think of you. Not saying you're a troll of coarse. But boy did that have insider written all over it lol
