This one has Roman numerals for the date. This Stuber was struck in Wesel. The pieces from Cleve are some of my favorites.
This copper/billon piece is a Double Mite. It was minted in Ghent. Early Dated copper /billon coinage is for the most part very rare. This piece, believe it or not is an upgrade.
This was the replaced piece. The one before this piece was even worse. I'm am fortunate to have owned 3 different pieces.
This is a Double Heaume. Levinson is uncertain of the mint. This piece seems to have been "clipped" near the date in the past.
This Austrian Kreuzer was minted in Wien (Vienna). For some reason the 1483-1488 dates are rare thru most of the regions that Bob Levinson covers in his book. Even though they may be labeled as scarce or rare, they very rarely show up at auction.
This Turnose was minted in Deutz. The date is in Roman Numerals in the inner circle in the left image.
You really do have a very interesting collection of European Medieval coins, tibor. Congratulations - (that is one area which I have not dared to venture into).
@Eduard Thank you for the kind words. I've been working on it for several years. For some reason this area of time interests me.
