    Received this today from my Wife´s sister in Germany. 150th Anniversary of the German Archaeological Institute. 2x2 looks like it has seen better days

    Nice coin and great design. I'd try to remove the green/brown gunk on the reverse with acetone.

    Do you also collect the Weimar Commemoratives? I tried for a while, but they're just too pricey for my limited budget.

    To be honest I haven't even looked at them. I inherited this collection in December '19, took about 4 months to get it into some sort of order. The bulk is silver German and Norwegian modern commemoratives, proof issues by the Franklin mint and US coinage
