Thanks for the replies everybody! I bought the coin encapsulated and graded by NGC. They gave it an AU 55. My first look at the coin told me it was undergraded. But upon closer examination I see that there are some breaks in the luster in the unprotected areas. So I was swayed to accept that it had circulated, but that was only after seeing NGC's opinion. I agree the details are really nice for a 1921 (that's why it caught my eye). Also, I think this is a case of slightly misleading photos. The photos I posted were taken by the dealer and make the coin "glow" a little more than reality. I don't know the technique but man does it produce some nice photos! As far as being dipped, I definitely accept the possibility. It is remarkably white for a coin of its age. Thank you all for your input and expertise.
