<p>[QUOTE="altaycoins, post: 3112550, member: 16466"]I would like to share few coins that I've added to my collection in the last month. I am pretty happy that almost all of them are all either rare types or from rare mints. I am expecting one more amazing coin and I will add it here when it will arrive. </p><p><br /></p><p>Let's start.</p><p><br /></p><p>First one is a silver 6 dirham (equivalent to one dinar) from Abu Said. The mint Shabankara is a rare mint from the southern Iran.</p><p><br /></p><blockquote><blockquote><blockquote><blockquote><p>Ilkhans, Abu Sa'id, AR 6 Dirham, Shabankara, 722.</p></blockquote></blockquote></blockquote></blockquote><p><img src="http://altaycoins.com/sikke_paralari/158_2_37153_.jpg" class="bbCodeImage wysiwygImage" alt="" unselectable="on" /> </p><p><br /></p><p>Second one is an extremely rare mint of Khurtu (Hortu). It is a village near today's Eskişehir in Turkey. This village is supposed to be the birthplace of the character of Nasir ed-Din Hoja who is a famous character known with his folkloric (and ironic) stories.</p><p><br /></p><blockquote><blockquote><blockquote><blockquote><blockquote><p>Ilkhans, Abu Sa'id, AR 2 Dirham, Khurtu, Khani 33.</p></blockquote></blockquote></blockquote></blockquote></blockquote><p><img src="http://altaycoins.com/sikke_paralari/158_2_14267_.jpg" class="bbCodeImage wysiwygImage" alt="" unselectable="on" /> </p><p><br /></p><p>Third one. Although there is a hole on it, I don't mind as it is a fals that I haven't seen before (and I am currently preparing a catalog on Ilkhan bronze coins).</p><p><br /></p><blockquote><blockquote><blockquote><blockquote><blockquote><p>Ilkhans, Uljaytu, AE Fals, Nakhjawan , DM.</p></blockquote></blockquote></blockquote></blockquote></blockquote><p><img src="http://altaycoins.com/sikke_paralari/157_2_54091_.jpg" class="bbCodeImage wysiwygImage" alt="" unselectable="on" /> </p><p><br /></p><p>Number four is a common type but a very rare mint from the northeastern Turkey.</p><p><br /></p><blockquote><blockquote><blockquote><blockquote><p>Ilkhans, Abu Sa'id, AR 2 Dirham, Belakhur, 722 AH.</p></blockquote></blockquote></blockquote></blockquote><p><img src="http://altaycoins.com/sikke_paralari/158_2_48591_.jpg" class="bbCodeImage wysiwygImage" alt="" unselectable="on" /> </p><p><br /></p><p>Fifth coin that I want to show you is a present from a member of CoinTalk <font size="4"><a href="https://www.cointalk.com/conversations/members/thcoins.57364/" class="internalLink ProxyLink" data-proxy-href="https://www.cointalk.com/conversations/members/thcoins.57364/"><b>THCoins</b></a>.</font> <font size="4">I would like to thank him once again. It is a rare fals from today's Erzincan (Arzinjan) in eastern Turkey. It is double pictorial with a hawk on the obverse and horseman on the reverse.</font></p><p><br /></p><blockquote><blockquote><blockquote><blockquote><blockquote><p><font size="4">Ilkhans, Abu Sa'id, AE Fals, Arzinjan, ND.</font></p></blockquote></blockquote></blockquote></blockquote></blockquote><p><font size="4"><img src="http://altaycoins.com/sikke_paralari/158_2_10533_.jpg" class="bbCodeImage wysiwygImage" alt="" unselectable="on" /> </font></p><p><font size="4"><br /></font></p><p><font size="4">Ah sixth one is a common type with a common mint. But I liked its condition. This type bears three different type of scripts: arabic, uyghur-mongolian and Phags-pa (an alphabet developed by Tibetian monks)</font></p><p><font size="4"><br /></font></p><blockquote><blockquote><blockquote><p><font size="4">Ilkhans, Ghazan Mahmud, AR 1 Dirham, Mawsil, 700 AH.</font></p></blockquote></blockquote></blockquote><p><font size="4"><img src="http://altaycoins.com/sikke_paralari/156_2_51706_.jpg" class="bbCodeImage wysiwygImage" alt="" unselectable="on" /> </font></p><p><br /></p><p><font size="4">Seventh one is again a very rare fals with a gorgeous design. And it is in superb condition as most of the Ilkhan bronzes came out to be pretty poor. And it has a great toning that can be seen only at a certain angle. After realizing this, I started to add photos of coins at hand to my website too.</font></p><p><font size="4"><br /></font></p><blockquote><blockquote><blockquote><blockquote><blockquote><p><font size="4">Ilkhans, Abu Sa'id, AE Fals, Tabriz, 726 AH.</font></p></blockquote></blockquote></blockquote></blockquote></blockquote><p><font size="4"><br /></font></p><p><font size="4"><img src="http://altaycoins.com/sikke_paralari/158_2_23540_.jpg" class="bbCodeImage wysiwygImage" alt="" unselectable="on" /> </font></p><p><font size="4"><img src="http://altaycoins.com/zoomed_images/455detail.jpg" class="bbCodeImage wysiwygImage" alt="" unselectable="on" /> </font></p><p><font size="4"><br /></font></p><p><font size="4"><br /></font></p><p><font size="4">Last but not least, a rare silver dirham of Arghun citing his son Ghazan Mahmud as the governor of the East. In the checklist of Steve Album it is listed as RRR. I am happy that it survived from the postal system. It came from US to the Netherlands in a week and spent 3 weeks extra within the country. Then after a day of starting an investigation, it arrived. </font></p><p><br /></p><blockquote><blockquote><blockquote><blockquote><p><font size="4">Ilkhans, Arghun, AR 1 Dirham, Jurjan, 68x?
