Well there is at least one other person here who realizes that NONE of these designs satify the design criteria. Can anyone explain how any of these designs symbolize Lincolns holding together of the union? The only one that comes close is the flag since it has more stars than there were states at the time of the Civil War. That would either imply that the southern states returned to the union, or that the union simply managed to gain more states until it had more than what it had before the war. It really doesn't say for sure that any of the southern states returned or that Lincoln held the union together.
I really like the capital one. The fact that it is off center is very appealing to me. I think it meets the criteria as the capital is where the national government is housed. My two lincoln cents
