Ruben... If I were to ever start collecting silver coins again, it would be this series! Outstanding coin.....Hey I sharpened the coin in PS and here is what I got... RickieB
The head is so full you can see a cheek bone Ruben[/QUOTE] For some reason i had to laugh when i read that! I like your coin, but most of all, i like it that you like it so much! (My own first attemp to get a SLQ did not end up well - it was sold to me as MS62, but you could not see much of the face, let alone the cheekbones Yours is all there). Regards, Eduard
Wow, Ruben, if you paid $50 for that coin, I wanna know who the seller is. LOL :kewl: VERY nice SLQ!!
Well, you know, when you hunt for something for a long time and finally find one which is very satisfying, then its a lot of fun. Is this not what much of the hobby about? We don't make the coins or design them All we do is find them and pay for them....all $50.00 Ruben
I sharpened it a bit already, but I still need a better photo. This coin has minute details that almost no other SLQ I've seen ever had. You can almost see eye lashes. BTW - try the GIMP Ruben
I think it tops out Pauls registery list for the 1917 You can get an MS70 and I doubt it will look that good. Ruben
Full Face - Yes a new notation. The heck with the head, we have a FULL FACE Here is something else, it has complete bars on both stone slabs. That is better than complete steps Ruben
Yeah - I think it is staying in the safe house for a while but if you come to Brooklyn I'd be happy to show it to you. Ruben
Ruben beautiful coin , looks like a grade higher than my avatar coin , I love mine but yours looks nicer , cogratulations on a great find . Rusty
