The head is so full you can see a cheek bone

    Ruben[/QUOTE]

For some reason i had to laugh when i read that!

I like your coin, but most of all, i like it that you like it so much!

(My own first attemp to get a SLQ did not end up well - it was sold to me as MS62, but you could not see much of the face, let alone the cheekbones Yours is all there).

    Regards,
    Eduard

Well, you know, when you hunt for something for a long time and finally find one which is very satisfying, then its a lot of fun. Is this not what much of the hobby about? We don't make the coins or design them :) All we do is find them and pay for them....all $50.00

It was the German police. They acquired it from an archaeologist.

I sharpened it a bit already, but I still need a better photo. This coin has minute details that almost no other SLQ I've seen ever had. You can almost see eye lashes.

BTW - try the GIMP :)

I think it tops out Pauls registery list for the 1917 :)

You can get an MS70 and I doubt it will look that good.

Full Face - Yes a new notation. The heck with the head, we have a FULL FACE

Here is something else, it has complete bars on both stone slabs. That is better than complete steps
