Just my two cents, I used kointains on a lot of coins, thinking they were the best way to store them. over I'd say after 7yrs or so, I had a lot of silver coins with black spots appear on the rims, or edges of the coins. I have switched out all remaining coins to air-tites, and hoping this will be my final storage option. After I got the coins into Kointains, I then put some in of them into 2x2's and into albums. Others I put into custom dansco pages (to fit the kointains) and albums. I got the same results in both of the album types. So now they are in air-tites and Caps albums. Last thing, I didn't care for the way the kointains go together. When doing a lot of coins, it was a real pain getting those clamshell pieces to go together, especially with proof coins, which always seem to fit a little tighter, even in air-tites!
