I don't know much of anything about the series. I have the Cherrypicker's Guide for varieties, but cannot find these in there. A couple of these, I'm not sure if they're even varieties. Calling the experts! @howards @Paddy54

    1. 1867 with an obvious RPD. But what variety, exactly?

    2. 1869 with a Doubled Die obverse? Surely that's not just machine doubling on the motto... also maybe a RPD, but I dunno.

    3. 1873 Open 3 with an RPD... maybe.

This is the only book I could find about Shield Nickels.
A Guide Book of Shield And Liberty Head Nickels: Complete Source For History, Grading, and Prices (The Official Red Book)

I'm surprised Flynn doesn't have a reference book out.
He covers many other older issues.

Very nice finds. Wish I could find coins like that. Love the cracks and the doubling.
