Okay i picked up a mystery box and it had a mix of U.S. and foreign coins. I can handle coins from the U.S. but have no clue when it comes to most foreign coins. Im trying to figure out year of the coin and what denomination they are here is a photo of the front and back of both coins

No problem. For East Asian cast coinage there's really nothing decent online, you really need printed references - especially for varieties. I've been collecting this for almost 30 years, my latest obsession is the Japanese shin kanei series. Picture collecting Lincoln cent varieties but the coins have no dates. Fun!
