This was bought at our other store yesterday. Don't see a lot of Canadian large size at work.

The color of the seal is what's throwing us. These notes had black, red or purple seals.

Using the Kraus World Paper Money guide as a reference I'm inclined to think it's a P33g.

Signatures of McCavour and Saunders and a group 2 note.

The problem we're having is the serial number appears red. Much more so than the seal which appears more purple.

The only note that fits those parameters is a P33k but that note is listed as a group 1.

Need a little help from you World Paper experts. I figure the P33g. Looking for clarification.

    Thanks.

I posted this on the Canadian Paper Money Forum for clarification. I have the Charlton's guide and it doesn't match anything there either.

    Thanks,

We have a copy of Chalton's as well and same result. No match.

Got a response from someone who's in the know:

"DC-25i Group two bronze seal. I know, I know, it looks purple, but with a real purple seal test note in hand, you'll see the difference."

In other words a common note?

    Again, thanks for the help.
