This was bought at our other store yesterday. Don't see a lot of Canadian large size at work. http://i182.photobucket.com/albums/x275/clembo1872/forums/23can.jpg The color of the seal is what's throwing us. These notes had black, red or purple seals. Using the Kraus World Paper Money guide as a reference I'm inclined to think it's a P33g. Signatures of McCavour and Saunders and a group 2 note. The problem we're having is the serial number appears red. Much more so than the seal which appears more purple. The only note that fits those parameters is a P33k but that note is listed as a group 1. Need a little help from you World Paper experts. I figure the P33g. Looking for clarification. Thanks.
I posted this on the Canadian Paper Money Forum for clarification. I have the Charlton's guide and it doesn't match anything there either.
Got a response from someone who's in the know: "DC-25i Group two bronze seal. I know, I know, it looks purple, but with a real purple seal test note in hand, you'll see the difference."
