Guys I came across this medal of Washington. First of all, I know its a restrike somewhere in the 1850-1870 range. It was struck by a die sinker in Boston by the name of Joseph H. Merriam active during that time. The medal is bronze, 27mm and 10.3g in weight. The only other thing I can tell you is that it is uncirc, but has some slight corrosion issues. If anyone knows anything else about it I would appreciate the info.
Doubt that this helps, but here's a silver one. 8.37g 27.1mm http://artgallery.yale.edu/collections/objects/154888
Bingo. Baker-88. 1859. ---well that's gets me about half way there, now to see if I can find some auction results.
