Need some help identifying UK hammered coin

    I have looked around but no luck iding atm.

    doesn't look like anything I've seen before wouldn't say its from Britain.

    That is a modern made piece made by David Greenhalgh of the U.K. His business is called Grunal Moneta and you can see his name as the moneyer on your first picture - GRUNAL ON TAN. Here is his website http://www.grunalmoneta.co.uk/index.html

    There are lots of people around the world doing this, mostly for reenactors (SCA) or museums. Sometimes they show up out of context and confusion ensues.

    Especially when your a coin newbie and think you have something really old...... I should have known without the patina but no......
