A couple things. First this - No, it's not. The forum rules specifically allow all members to have a link like that in their sig line. Secondly, while I get the bit about the "possibility" of how a post having anything to do with questions about selling could be considered to be "subtle advertising" shall we say - which I believe is what was suggested in this thread. That does not mean that it IS advertising. Sure, it's one of those things where you never know, it could be advertising, but it could also just be an honest question. I mean there are a great many members, a great many of them, who ask questions like this all the time. And for at least some of them, that's all they are - just honest questions. So how do you moderate that ? Answer, you pretty much have to give people the benefit of the doubt. I mean there really isn't any other choice. Questions like that do exist, they are legitimate questions. And a lot of people do not know the answers to those questions. Also, there is no special section of this forum for posting questions like that - none. And questions like that are not even allowed to be posted in the advertising sections of the forum. So the only place questions like that can be asked is in the regular sections of the forum - just like this one was. Now I want to say one last thing, as I have already told you, I give people the benefit of the doubt. I instruct the mods to give people the benefit of the doubt. But the rest of you, well that's up to you. Sure, you can make posts like some did in this thread - and doubt all ya want. Or you can do what I do. But if ya doubt, then what ya should do is report it and let a mod decide. Not voice your doubts. All voicing your doubts does is cause discontent within the forum. And quite frankly, we're all better of without it. And hopefully everyone here will read that for what it is - a suggestion, not an instruction.
