Need some advice about an EBay Transaction gone horribly wrong

    From eBay's listing policy regarding certified coins, which is the subject of the thread:

    Certified coins

    In addition, listings for certified coins must include an image of the item, showing the coin in its graded holder. The image needs to be clear and the grading company, grade, and certification number should easily be readable.

    In all fairness to the OP, the auctions that closed with a $35 sale, were not listed as unsearched, but 2500 copper pennies rolled and boxed.

    The listings for the unsearched rolls sold for $7.54 the lowest, and $9.05 the highest. :thumb:

    I wouldn't have bought a coin with no picture- obverse and reverse.
    This is an example of why I dislike ANACS details grading. NGCs is slightly better because they don't associate a number to the grade- just a description like VF, XF, F, etc.
