As you know, we would really need to see pics of the note you are speaking about to gauge value per individual responses here, especially since you don't seem to know the value yourself and can only roughly estimate the grade of what sounds like a circulated note. Condition is everything when it comes to value or what a collector may chose to pay and you seem to have knocked this one down enough notches that unless there is something special about the SN or it's a true error (which it is not), then its not worth much more than face in this condition. Asking how much someone on CT is going to pay for it if you listed it here totally defeats the purpose, especially since most of the serious paper collectors on here are probably going to glance at this thread and given the notations of its condition, pass on it.

Also, the note you linked to is not a true error. That's just offset ink from another note that wasn't fully dry before getting pressed on the face of the note in the auction. Also, notice that that note has a serious center fold and I would never bid on that note without being able to see all the corners and both sides of the note. It's not worth $220, it's worth spending for $50. The seller is jiving the ebay community and/or is clueless and hoping for someone equally clueless to stumble upon this and part with a lot of cash for a nothing note. The note books (over) priced at $85 in ChCU with 232 million printed! There's no premium and it's not an error in regards to the note you linked to. Sorry.
