Anyone have a history (long or short) of dealings with Great Collections and/or L&C coins? Any thoughts or opinions would be appreciated.
Nothing in recent years, but I've purchased from L&C in the past with no issues. They have been around forever.
Nothing with GC but LandC, I have had nothing but wonderful experiences with them. No complaints whatsoever.
I've done business with both and you can't go wrong with either. I love the range of selections from both.
Have bought a few things from L&C recently. One shipment was delivered to the wrong address (wasn't even close to my house, someone random got a lovely 1875CC dime). L&C sent a replacement coin out after a little bit of phone tag. I actually will recommend them after that experience.
I have purchased some odd lots from L & C over the years, no problems. Phone service is quick and efficient and friendly.
Thanks for all the responses. I just made a bid at GC. Will more than likely make a purchase at L&C in the near future. It is nice to have a place to go where one can respect opinions given.
LandC, has been wonderful as I said. I haven’t bought much lately but over the years I’ve easily spent a total of five figures and I don’t do that if I’m not treated good.
A long while ago I noticed a misprint for a low price on a coin in L&C advertisement in Coin World. They would not honor the price so I haven't been back since. Dave
I've been buying from L & C for years and they've always been great. I've only had to return one coin because it wasn't the same coin as pictured on their website. I found afterwards that they use stock photos for their slabbed coins...if you request a photo of the coin you're purchasing they will email them to you. Raw coin photos are of the actual coin. I use their layaway option on more expensive coins.
I've seen this before but most companies have a disclaimer that they are not responsible for typo errors.
