It will depend partly on supply, which in turn means how many sets the Mint produces. And that for me seems the crux of the problem: by the time I find the production numbers it’s too late to buy from the Mint. Or maybe I’m just looking in the wrong places. I would think the Mint could publish on their site the number of bison rolls, for example, that they have sold so far, with monthly updates. Another example: I can’t find a source more recent than 2003 that tells me the mintage number of AGEs. Therefore, I don’t know how key the 2004 ¼ oz AGE is yet, let alone the 2005. Now, I think Coin World does publish some of these numbers, so I suppose the info is out there. I just wish the Mint would make it more readily available. I’m hoping someone will jump in here and show me I’m wrong by revealing the locations for this data.
