    So I spent the day sorting my foreign silver and for the life of me I can not identify this one. Any help is greatly appreciated

    The clue was the first three letters at 7 oclock position on the obverse - LEO could only be King Leopold of Belgium!

    Interestingly, the latest (August) issue of Coin World magazine had an article that mentions him and the gold Belgian coins of this period.
